
Adia Fadaei is a senior Psychology major at Point Loma Nazarene University. Her passion for eradicating the stigma surrounding mental health and suicidality began at 14 during her work in high school at Teen Line as a hotline listener, outreach presenter, and intern. Adia is a National Student Advisory Committee Member for Active Minds, Crisis Counselor for the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, Policy Advocate with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Rare Beauty Mental Health Ambassador for Selena Gomez’s Rare Impact Fund, Advisory Board Member for Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, and a Youth Council Member for Love is Respect. Her youth mental health work was recognized at the White House during the nation's first Mental Health Youth Action Forum hosted by MTV and Viacom CBS, in coordination with the Biden-Harris administration and Selena Gomez. She aspires to become a clinical psychologist while engaging in continued systemic advocacy and focusing on youth mental illness and suicidology.
