The Anti-Racism and Mental Health Grants

Funded by UCLA’s Friends of the Semel Institute, The Anti-Racism and Mental Health Grants support trainees in the UCLA Department of Psychiatry for clinical practice, policy, research, and/or other areas in psychiatry. The award was created in honor of George Floyd and other victims of long-standing systemic racism.

Applications are reviewed by a committee including the Vice Chair of Justice Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and representatives from the Psychiatry Diversity Advisory Council, and Training Directors.
